Hel-LO, and welcome to... wait, that's taken. Hm. Anyways, this is the much-anticipated FutonCAM movie review section. Chris and I have decided to define this part of the site by what you will not find here. You will not find: plot synopses, confusing in-depth analysis, stars, thumbs, tomatoes, or annoying ultra-right-wing parental advisories.
What you will find is a short commentary on - simply - whether a specific film was enjoyable. How was the script, how was the acting, were we entertained? There are plenty of places on the web to find out more about a film, but everyone has different tastes, and we want to try to be be quick and objective about movies you've probably already heard about. Over time, I'm sure you'll find out whether your tastes tend to match our own, and come to trust us. We have.
Each review will be accompanied by a picture from Chris and/or Mike which personifies our opinion of the film. There's no formula - it's up to your interpretation. If it looks like we enjoyed the film, the picture will probably be a lot funnier after you've actually seen it. If we didn't, well, it'll be obvious. In other words, the more we like a film, the more work goes into the photo. So, if you see us finishing a bag of potato chips or reading a book, chances are you would rather be engaged in one of those activities than sitting through the title in question. Got it? Good.
